DONNA GOLDSTEIN:
LEAD TEACHER, ARTS IN EDUCATION AID COUNCIL

Donna received her formal art education at Pratt Institute in Brookyn, NY. Soon afterward came a large family to raise during which time she discovered that her greatest love is making art with children. For the last fifteen years she has been privileged to teach art to both children and adults in various venues including Ventura County Unified School District's Artist in Residence Program, LA Valley College Extension Program, The Atelier Studio in Chatsworth, as well as in her home studio. Over the years she has also created murals, sets and portraits for various television productions. She is Vice President of Arts in Education Aid Council, a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring the arts to public schools in the San Fernando Valley. For the last five years, Donna has written curriculum and taught exclusively for this organization, sharing her love of artmaking with K-5 students at Melvin Avenue Elementary in Reseda and Maurice Sendak Elementary North Hollywood. Donna feels that teaching art to young children is the best job in the world!
