Jayme has loved animals her whole life and also has a love of art gifted to her by her grandfather - a Disney animator for almost 50 years. Currently an equine science major, she spends much of her time around horses or on the trails with her horse, Jake. When not in the classroom or saddle, Jayme can be found working for Reptacular Animals. Reptacular Animals is a company that educates and entertains children through animal parties and classes and has run the Animal Encounters class at the Summer Art Academy for several summers. Their large collection of over 150 animals ranges from reptiles to furry critters, parrots and farm animals that are all part of the family and have been raised with love and expertise. Jayme has taught Animal Encounters at many prestigious schools around the LA area and is very excited to be joining the Summer Art Academy for her first year.
