CERAMIC ARTIST AND INSTRUCTOR

A native Californian, Mary invested her early years raising three children and earning an interior design degree.  She began to develop her talent for Ceramic Art in 1997, while working as an Interior Designer. She learned to throw on a wheel while attending Moorpark College in California, and continues to refine and improve her style and skills with her primary focus on the ancient Raku technique of firing clay. Mary currently shares her craft with the students in the ceramics department at Moorpark College, where she has been for the last 4 years. This will be her 3rd year sharing her love for her art with the kids who take her ceramic workshop at the Summer Art Academy.
