Sylvia runs a “Woodworking and Decorative Art Program” in various schools throughout the greater Los Angeles and South Bay areas. Kids in elementary schools, kindergartens, preschools, camps and parties get the chance to explore and work with wood a natural wonderful material. Her passion is to bring fun and creativity into the lives of young children. Her motto is “you can never make a mistake in art”. Besides woodworking, Sylvia is an accomplished jewelry designer, painter, and ceramist. She received a fashion design degree in Europe and is currently an art educator at LACMA. Her art work is featured in galleries and exhibits in Europe and the United States. This will be her fourth year with our Art Camp 101 Woodworking program at the Art Academy.
