Shanita’s culinary inspiration stems from cooking with her mother and her upbringing in New Orleans, LA. As a self taught chef, she specializes in Creole, Southern, and French cuisines. Her experiences include teaching cooking to children with disabilities such as ADD, OCD, and Autism at a behavioral center in Tarzana, CA. In addition, she has experience owning and operating her own nutrition consulting firm and catering company. Shanita’s has an undeniable passion for impacting youth and is looking forward to sharing this passion with the campers this upcoming Summer!
