| CARTOONING - GAMESTOP COMICS For the first time at camp, we will draw from a rich collection of iconic Video-Game characters! Gamestop Comics is an exciting and fun way to explore the world of video-game design beginning with classic 8-bit titles from Nintendo such as Super Mario, Donkey Kong,& Mega-Man! Then progressing to advanced characters such as Link from Zelda, Super Metroid, Master Chief, & Solid Snake! Video game design is a vast and creative way to explore gaming beyond the button smashing! “GAME OVER…” Parents, free comic books will be given away at the end of each week and DVD's of cartoon animation and movies will be watched so that campers can be inspired by the art and stories of today's professionals. Although every effort will be made to screen for inappropriate content, obviously we cannot guarantee that all the material will meet with every parent's approval. |
