ALOHA! PARADISE HULA The highlight of this class is learning Hawaii's greatest art form: hula dance! We learn basic yet authentic movements from Pacific Island dance styles, from the Hula Kahiko (ancient hula with story-telling chants) to the modern-day halau to the fun and fast Tahitian dances. Campers will also be immersed in the traditional Hawaiian culture through enriching crafts, and they will even learn some phrases of the native language! A performance at the end of the session will make the audience think they just stepped into the land of Aloha!
