MUSICAL THEATRE TEEN CAMP:
MARY POPPINS



We are so excited to bring back our Teen Camp Program for our 11-15 year old campers. The focus for MWF is Musical Theatre and the show will be MARY POPPINS!

In this ultimate theatre curriculum, Teens will have the opportunity to learn how to produce their own show from beginning to end. The great thing about this program, is that even if you don't want to act and perform on stage, it's okay. You can use your creative talents to be part of the stage crew and learn what it takes to put on the show, behind the scenes. Check out our awesome schedule below!

9:00 - 10:10 FIRST WORKSHOP:
EXTREME DOUBLE DARE 2.0
Double Dare is BACK! This is the 5th year for this VERY popular class! In this workshop campers will focus on fun engaging team building activties and challenges to create a tight cast community! From Frozen t-shirts, scavenger hunts, Tye-Dye, poster creating, candy eating, name that song and so much more! An awesome class that takes places both indoors and outdoors! Get ready because we DOUBLE DARE YOU!

10:35 - 11:45 SECOND WORKSHOP:
PROPS & BANNERS
In this workshop the cast and crew will work together to create all props, & banners needed to decorate to use for the show! Get ready to paint, draw, glue and be imaginative!

12:45 - 1:55 THIRD WORKSHOP:
ACTING, BLOCKING, COSTUMES & MAKE-UP!
In this workshop campers will begin running their lines, practicing their songs, learning dance moves, and blocking for the show. They'll learn techniques that will help them project, get into character and learn how to follow their cues.They will also work together to learn different stage make-up techniques to help you get ready for your character in your BIG DEBUT!

2:20 - 3:30 FOURTH WORKSHOP
ON STAGE REHEARSAL
This is your time to shine! This time block is dedicated for full rehearsal time! Everything that has been learned during the first class will be implemented here in a full run through on the MAIN STAGE!
