ELLEN WOHLSTADTER
Director

Ellen has been studying ceramics for the past 15 years and sharing her passion for her craft with adults and children for the past 8 years. She continually studies and advances her knowledge of working with clay by attending workshops across the country where she learns new techniques she then shares with her students. She prides herself in constantly creating simple, fun and funtional pottery projects both adults and children will enjoy making and, once glazed and fired, be proud of.

SARA WEDMAN
Instructor

Sara is currently an art major at Pierce College where she has studied ceramics and photography for the last four years. She enjoys sharing her love of clay with students of all ages, and sees great value in the medium as a vehicle for self expression and for exploring the process of creating art. She especially enjoys the very hands-on nature of working with clay and delights in sharing her knowledge, enthusiasm, and skill with others.

JULIE MATHIS
Instructor

Julie has been studying the art of ceramics since 1993 and has been teaching it for the past two years. She shares her passion and knowledge of this art form with the students that she teaches. Julie is currently in college majoring in Art History and minoring in Fine Arts. With her degree she plans to continue teaching and spreading the wonderful knowledge of clay.
