Clash of the culinary Titans. This exciting class will test the recipes of the top celebrity Chefs of television and their regional specialties. Chef battles include Mario Batali vs. Giada De Laurentiis (Italian cuisine) – Emeril vs. Paul Prudhomme (Cajun & Creole cuisine) – Gordon Ramsey vs. Jaime Oliver (United Kingdom cuisine) – Bobby Flay vs. The Two Hot Tamales (Tex Mex cuisine) and Martha Stewart vs. Rachel Ray (Holiday Cooking).

Today, we begin to taste the difference between two ladies who have built culinary Empires. We will make Martha Stewart’s sweet and spicy chicken wings and taste the difference between Rachel Ray’s shrimp pork balls with spicy lime dipping sauce.
Tuesday
Emeril’s Chicken Etouffee vs. Paul Prudhommes Chicken Big Manou
Off we go to the Bayou as we look at the recipes from two icons trained in culinary hot bed of New Orleans. We will taste the flavors of Paul Prudhomme and Emeril Lagasse two legendary Executive Chefs of the world renowned Commander’s Palace in New Orleans. The recipes we will learn are Paul’s Chicken Big Manou and Emeril’s chicken etouffee.

Jamie Oliver’s Pork Loin in Wine with Fennel & Garlic vs.
Gordon Ramsay’s Sticky Lemon Chicken with Champ
Next, across the pond we go to test recipes from two famous Chefs from the United Kingdom. We will taste the flavors of Scotland born Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver who hails from England. Ramsay’s recipe will be a sticky lemon chicken with champ(Irish style mashed potato)and from Oliver we will make a pork loin in wine, garlic and fennel.

Bobby Flay’s New Mexico Style Soft Tacos vs.
The Two Hot Tamales Sautéed Shrimp
Back to America we go for a battle between Tex Mex superstars Bobby Flay versus the Two Hot Tamales. These Chef’s are responsible for teaching America about the bold flavors of Tex Mex cuisine. Flay’s recipe will be New Mexico style tacos with salsa verde and the Two Hot Tamales recipe that we explore will be a zesty sautéed shrimp.

Giada De Laurentiis’s Seared Shrimp in Endive Leaves with Parsley Sauce vs. Mario Batali’s Mushroom & Asparagus Potato Cakes
Today, we taste the difference in Italian styles between Giada De Laurentiis against Mario Batali. These Chefs have specialized in regional Italian cuisine and have built great careers showing America the delicious flavors of Italy. From Giada, we will make a seared shrimp presented in endive with parley sauce and Mario’s recipe will be mushroom and asparagus potato cakes.
