OODLES OF NOODLES
This class explores all of the shapes and sizes of Italian pasta and how to cook it. We will learn everything from Elbow Macaroni to Bow Ties. We will also make delicious sauces and pasta salads that are simple easy and mouthwatering. .

WOODWORKING AND DECORATIVE ART
Have fun, create and work with a natural material! All woodworking secrets for beginners will be revealed in this class. We start with the basics and learn how to sand, use hammers and nails, screws and screwdrivers and how to use a hand drill. After finishing our wooden toy we will use our creative imagination and embellish our pieces by using a variety of materials. We are a very eco friendly class and we only use untreated, completely free of noxious chemicals wood and water based paint. The combination of woodworking and art encourages concentration, problem-solving skills, fine motor coordination and stimulates creativity. The kids experience the joy of creative expression, become creative thinkers and develop confidence.

MEET THE MASTERS
In this class, students will learn about the styles and techniques of famous artists such as Picasso, Georgia O’Keefe, Monet and many more. Students will explore ideas and materials to make artwork in the style of the artists that they are learning about. We will be creating both two dimensional and three dimensional artworks that will explore drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture. This is sure to be a fun and energetic class that will produce projects that will inspire young artists.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT AND DANCE!
Through creative movement Art Camp 101 students will explore the dance elements space, time, rhythm, and line. Through movement and music we will create together original dance pieces to be performed on stage!
