will particpate in all of the M/W/F workshops listed below.
WOODWORKING 101
In this workshop our K Campers will practice basic woodworking techniques to complete various projects. K Campers will exercise their dexterity and coordination as they learn the fundamentals and tools used to create 3D art in wood. Campers will learn the basic techniques of woodworking and original embellishment. Your child's fine motor skills will be emphasized through the preparation and manipulation of various other materials such as paint, fabric, tiles, and buttons. Projects planned are treasure boxes, birdhouse, serving tray, spice rack, pirateship, robot, trucks, starwar's plane, and guitar's.
This workshop does not take place on the woodworking bus

EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY
In this workshop or K Campers will create a bounty of books with interesting materials. Using different colors, shapes and designs our young campers will learn the art of bookmaking. They will work together to create amazing tales that explore their active imaginations. Then their wonderful stories come to life in their own books when they illustrate them in many unique and artistic ways. Parents: All new projects for second session!

COOKING: LITTLE SHOP OF BAKERS
Your little one will love turning flour yeast and water into amazing creations. This is strictly old school as there will not be a bread machine in site. We are talking one big sticky mess of fun. All of the kids favorites are on the docket from twisted pretzels, cinna-rollups, designer pizza, artisan bread and braided challah bread too!!!

BEGINNING DRAMA AND IMPROV!
This fun-filled energetic class offers theatre arts and creative dramatics with emphasis on improvisation and original story drama. K Campers will participate in the creative process by traveling across the universe and creating an "Outer Space" themed piece at the end of the camp session. This workshop is designed to enhance each child's creative process while encouraging independent thinking and group cooperation. Original music adds to the fun!
