MINI YOGIS
In this workshop, we’ll explore and discover the mind and body in inspiring, creative ways. Through animated poses, basic stretching and movement exercises, you’ll gain strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques will teach you how to concentrate, relax and focus inward. The aim of the workshop is to stimulate the imagination, promote creative self-expression, instill self-respect and respect for others, and release energy. A typical class includes Breath Awareness, Sun Salutations, Standing and Sitting Poses, Stretching, and Relaxation. The integration of art, yoga games, and music add to the fun and adventure of this ancient practice. Instructor: Lynn SCIENCE MADNESS! Welcome to the world of Science MADNESS! Campers will learn about the scientific method as they come up with their own theory, test a hypothesis and reach a conclusion on scientific marvel. Our young scientists will test out fun exciting experiments like Seltzer Rockets, Elephants Toothpaste, Balloon Rockets, Slime and make your VERY OWN ICE CREAM with Science! Don't miss out! Instructor: TBA ART EXPLOSION Explore the wonderful world of imagination, color and exciting, unusual art materials and tools. Campers will create two-and three-dimensional art pieces, exploring color, pattern and texture. Campers will turn their ideas into works of art and create their very own masterpieces.The sky's the limit in this class! Instructor: TBA ART CAMP KITCHEN Welcome to the ART CAMP KITCHEN! We will make both sweet AND savory foods from around the globe. Recipes will include: Snacks, Desserts, Smoothies and more!
